I earned my Bachelor's degree from Samford University in Birmingham, VA in 2004. After graduation, I taught 4th grade for one year and then spent 18 months living in Morocco and China.
While overseas, I worked in a preschool and taught English to college freshman. In 2007, I began work on my Master of Divinity degree only to learn that my passion was to go back into teaching. I went ahead and completed my degree in 2010 but decided not to go into church work and instead started looking for a teaching job.
Even though some days can be tough, I definitely love what I do!
